The Holy Season of Lent--begins—February 22, 2012

As we prepare for Lent, the 40 weekdays between Ash Wednesday and Easter, let us approach the season as a 40-day spiritual journey, complete with supplies, itinerary and a road map that will be necessary to complete the trip.  With a little planning, prayer and divine intervention, many of us will reach our final destination and celebrate the joy of Easter with a renewed sense of faith.
We at St. Isidore and St. Pius, will be traveling this journey together as we all strive to renew our faith and build a closer relationship with our Lord.  What do you need for your 40-day spiritual journey?  Below are some ideas for your road map and itinerary as well as supplies that you can use on your journey.

The "spirit" of St. Isidore moves in all who pass between the portals of the church that is now and the church that was…it is the gentle movement of the Holy Spirit working in all of us.
